Ainekset vispataan sekaisin keskenään vieraiden saapuessa ja annetaan vetäytyä jääkaapissa. Lopuksi massasta leikataan suuhun sopivia palasia ja tarjoillaan raamien kera.

Iiu Susiraja (s. 1975) on kansainvälisesti kiinnostusta herättänyt taiteilija, joka tunnetaan parhaiten hänen omakuvistaan. Susiraja haluaa herättää leikkisästi anarkistisilla teoksillaan voimakkaita tunteita. Teoksille on ominaista, että Susiraja esiintyy työssä itse mahdollisimman aitona ja arkisena, pidätellen kiukkua tai osoittaen välinpitämättömyyttä.
Susirajan on menestynyt maailmanlaajuisesti ja hänen teoksiaan on ollut esillä niin Suomen kuin ulkomaiden gallerioissa ja museoissa. Esimerkiksi vuoden 2016 marraskuussa avattiin Susirajan yksityisnäyttely Ramiken Crubicle -galleriassa, New Yorkissa. Hänen teoksiaan on mm. Rubell Family Collectionin, Valtion Taidekokoelman ja Gothenburg Museum of Art:in kokoelmissa.

Yösäilö-galleria

Yösäilö-galleria on Tampereen Taidehallin ulkoseinässä toimiva vuonna 2016 perustettu vitriinigalleria. Kunkin näyttelyn taiteilijan kuratoi yksi Tampereen Taidehallin jäsenistä. Kuratoinnissa painotetaan teoksia, jotka huomioivat ympäröivän julkisen tilan sekä sen historiallisen, poliittisen ja taloudellisen kontekstin. Yösäilö on taiteilijalle maksuton.

Tampereen Taidehalli (entinen Tesoman Taidehalli) on syksyllä 2014 perustettu yhdeksän kuvataiteilijan yhteisö, työhuone sekä tapahtumapaikka Tampereen Epilässä vanhassa Yhdyspankin rakennuksessa.

Susanna Vuorio (b. 1977)

This the first time I take part in an exhibition in a poster form. I had the challenge of choosing a work that would work as a print. This is why I decided on a work that has a graphic, drawing-like character, and has not been previously publicly exhibited.

“Slot machine” continues a series of works that I begun in 2014 on the theme of shopping centers. The Yösäiliö gallery was previously a bank and my work also deals with money. The subject matter is very commonplace. Today people have addictions, routines, hope and misfortune. I leave the interpretation to the viewer as to what is loneliness or selfishness, what are reasons or consequences, where life takes one.

Susanna Vuorio, b. 1977, is a painter who deals in his work with contemporary social phenomena. She does not use models or reference images, instead her works are created through a spontaneous, improvisatory process of painting. Painting is to her a form of empathy, a way to become conscious of what is going on here. Ms. Vuorio has exhibited her paintings at several Finnish galleries and museums. Her works are in Finnish State Art Collection and Tampere Art Museum’s collection, among others.

Yösäilö gallery

Yösäilö (eng. Night Safe) gallery is vitrine gallery founded in 2016. The gallery is located at the entrance of Tampere Kunsthalle. Each exhibition is curated by one of the members of Tampere Kunsthalle. Works that consider the historical, political and economical context and the public space surrounding the gallery are emphasized in the curating process. Yösäilö gallery is free of charge for the artist.

Tampere Kunsthalle (former Tesoma Kunsthalle) is a is a collective, self-organized studio and do-it-yourself-exhibition space all in one.

New works by visual artist Timo Bredenberg (b. 1984) are displayed inside a former bank vault, now repurposed by group of artists as a temporary project space. Exhibition is open during one weekend only at Tampereen Taidehalli.

In his work, visual artist Timo Bredenberg, has explored internet communities and political movements using methods from found footage cut-up to virtual derivé. Recently he has been interested in network economies, their material pre-conditions and underlying algorithms.
