Yösäilö (eng. Night Safe) gallery is vitrine gallery founded in 2016. The gallery is located at the entrance of Tampere Kunsthalle. Each exhibition is curated by one of the members of Tampere Kunsthalle. Works that consider the historical, political and economical context and the public space surrounding the gallery are emphasized in the curating process. Yösäilö gallery is free of charge for the artist.

Tampere Kunsthalle (former Tesoma Kunsthalle) is a is a collective, self-organized studio and do-it-yourself-exhibition space all in one.

Visual Artist, comics artist, critic, high priest of the Dead Genesis publishing company.

In his works Tiainen combines delicate black lines, collage technique and painfully bright colors. His oeuvre can be seen as a love letter to surreal life stories, feelings of otherness and inhuman concrete jungles. His works are a celebration of dadaism, sparkle and associations straight from the unconscious. We are proud to start the year of Yösäilö exhibitions with Tuomas Tiainen’s piece Nerve Ending.

Exhibition opens on Wednesday 1st of June at 6 PM.
